Sweet and Spicy Christmas Ham

Description
This Christmas ham will knock your socks off! It's sweet, it's a little spicy, it's the perfect new addition to your Christmas table.
Ingredients
1 x 6kg Woolworths Ham, bone in
Glaze:
Drizzle of olive oil
1 tbsp Djoin mustard
2 tbsp Butter
1/2 cup Tomato Passata
1/2 cup Soy sauce
1/2 cup Golden Syrup
Sprinkle Chilli flakes
3 garlic cloves, crushed
Cooking Directions
- Preheat the oven to 150C.
- Prepare the ham. Remove the skin by sliding your fingers between the rind and the fat. You want to keep some of the fat, so peel back the skin carefully.
- Score the fat in a criss-cross pattern down, but try not to go any deeper than the fat layer. Place onto a lined baking tray, lay flat side down.
- In a small pot, butter and olive oil over a medium heat. Melt together for one minute before adding garlic and cooking for 30 seconds. Add join mustard, tomato pasta, soy sauce, golden syrup and chilli flakes. Bring ingredients to a light simmer for10 minutes.
- Generously brush the ham all over with glaze and bake for 2 1/2 hours, brushing with more glaze every 30 minutes.
- Remove the ham from the oven and carve.
